NPO (Non-profit organization)<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The transition to NPO (Non-Profit Organization) status in January 2020 comes, de facto, to ratify a mode of operation already largely integrated within the free association of owners (e.g. board of directors, principles of governance , membership fees and financing, communication (logo, graphic charter, website, etc.). It also allows for better recognition by political authorities, donors and the general public. Finally, it paves the way for autonomous management of projects and applications for financial aid and subsidies in its own name and no longer through partners.<\/p>\n

The transition to an NPO also responds to a concern for better representation of the local community within it. It currently includes the following categories of members:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
    \n
  • The OWNERS (\u201cMembers\u201d, \u201cActors\u201d and \u201cPromoters\u201d) are stakeholders and wish to:\n
      \n
    • Manage their natural assets in an enlightened way to ensure their ecological sustainability (living soils, resilient forests, abundant biodiversity, healthy watershed, welcoming landscapes, etc.);<\/li>\n
    • Manage their real estate “as a good parent” and ensure its economic sustainability (maintenance or increase in property value, ability to bequeath a property that can at least be self-financing to the next generation without risking bequeathing “property at a loss” );<\/li>\n
    • Get to know caring people driven by the same goals, exchange and share;
      \nIntegrate one or more projects that directly enhance their heritage (forests, maple syrup production, agriculture, livestock, honey, etc.);<\/li>\n
    • Pool certain resources according to their priorities (expertise, inputs, manpower, equipment, etc.);<\/li>\n
    • Create circles of virtuous exchanges in an ecosystem of the Collective (attachment of needs and resources through the properties of the members) leading to the creation of specifications for the Collective, recognition and marketing at the endorsement;<\/li>\n
    • Integrate into transversal dynamics that enhance not only their heritage but also the region (conservation of biodiversity, management of water, energy and carbon footprint, development of the local and circular economy, etc);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

      <\/p>\n

    • The EXPERTS (\u201cExpert\u201d members) are stakeholders and wish to:\n
        \n
      • Get to know benevolent owners driven by ambitious ecological and social transition objectives, exchange and share;<\/li>\n
      • Offer and sustain their services to the Collective’s community while respecting its mission and its economic, environmental and social priorities;<\/li>\n
      • Pool certain resources according to their skills\/services and needs (expertise, inputs, manpower, equipment, etc.);<\/li>\n
      • Participate in the establishment of a Collective ecosystem in which they become an important link according to the services offered in the context of the Collective’s specifications, recognition and marketing accordingly;<\/li>\n
      • Be part of various cross-cutting dynamics that enhance the region (conservation of biodiversity, management of water, energy and carbon footprint, development of the local and circular economy, etc.);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
        \n\t\t\t\t

        \n\t\t\t\t

        The Collective also welcomes other driving forces within its ecosystem:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

          • Offer support (financial, administrative, logistical, PR, etc.) or paid or unpaid services and\/or products) to the Collective’s community while respecting its mission and its economic, environmental and social priorities;<\/li>\n
